Our United Methodist Women are an integral part of missions and outreach in our congregation. Four separate circles of UMW meet at various times during the month. The UMW is a vital link to missions and spiritual formation activities of our conference and of the United Methodist Church at large. Our UMW serves a variety of special meals throughout the year, including dozens of funeral dinners.
Our Agape Team is a missions organization with particular focus on members and friends of our church who are shut-ins. They have special outreach activities to shut-ins at Christmas, Valentine’s Day and in the summer.
The Open Arms Preschool is the only Christian-based source of preschool education in Schuyler County. In an environment that is always safe and fun, students learn about God and receive preparation for kindergarten.
The Good Samaritan Fund supports area families with emergency needs.
Our church supports programs for area youth including Schuylight Coffee House and the Schuyler County Youth Center.
Our church supports and participates in a number of area efforts to help those in need, including, the Schuyler County Food Basket, the Help Center, Pregnancy Resource Center, Habitat For Humanity and the Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance Transient Fund.
